I’ve stared at this screen for a while, asking myself how I’ll introduce May to you.

So instead, I’ve asked her how she’d introduce herself.
Let me explain why.

Do you have someone in your life that you’re really close to, but aren’t sure exactly how you met? That’s May and me. Truth is, it really doesn’t matter how you met, especially when you know they are a solid human.
This one? A very solid human.

This shoot was something of a shotgun shoot. We’d been talking about it, but our schedules… Well, you know Nairobi life.
Tukakasirika tu.
We talked on Friday, and had our shoot on Saturday morning.
And it was a fun shoot!
90 minutes later, we were very happy with ourselves.
My post-production process was also part of the fun…
You see, in my process, I choose to see every image as its own moment. I’m not looking to develop a “signature style”. I want every image to be its own captivating, enchanting moment.
So I just want to say that right off the jump: I’m not quite a “style” kind of person in my photography. I’m a “moments” person.
And I loved every moment with May.

Yes, you can book yourself a moment. Or for a loved one. Or for you and a loved one. Be it personal portrait, friendship portrait, couple/family portrait; or an event you have coming up – wedding, music, private family function… You get the idea. As long as there are stories to tell, I’m good at freezing those moments in time.
It’s simple: Just drop me a line on stillsbymarcus@gmail.com, and we’ll chat.
Why am I balancing tears? Your lens is going to greater places, to famous faces and I am glad I met you (even though we can’t quite figure out when LOL).
Thank you for the memories Marcus.
